Board Game - Feast of Fast Fillers
By Curt. Sign up for an introduction and competition of some fast playing games. These games are great for playing while that one guy that’s always late proves why he’s Mr. Tardy, but many of them are just good games too. This event highlights some of those games, complete with instruction, and pits players against each other in some light hearted competition. Each game selected will be a maximum of 30 minutes long, with many of them being even shorter than that. First place will get a prize, but the point is all about having fun and discovering new games that play well with gamers and non gamers alike. I may join in for a game or two, but I am ineligible to win the prize. Points will be awarded for finishing order in each event, with the final two events paying out around double the points. Prize is to be determined, but will be a secret anyway until the event is over. (Typical prizes given away in past GASPcon events I have run include free games and gift certificates). As of now, this event can hold 10 people. If there is greater demand I will make every effort to meet it. A sample of games to expect include: For Sale Tsuro Liars Dice Coloretto And more!

MINI - Warmachine Prime Time
It's been four years since the release of Warmachine: Prime. Since then we've seen an influx of new warcasters, warjacks, solos, and troops. Who would have thought that we'd go from boxed set tournaments to 1000 points over the course of a weekend? Throughout the books we've seen our favorite warcasters change and develop into epic versions of their former selves, we've seen leaders rise from the ranks of our favorite units, and we've expanded our basic forces to be specialized armies designed to take and hold objectives - or just wipe out our foes. Prime Time tournaments are meant to turn back the clock to a simpler time when all we had were what we saw on the pages of our very first Warmachine rulebook. No unit attachments, no epic casters, no specialized jacks - just our core units facing off like we did when it all started. This tournament will be a 500 point Steamroller tournament with full prize support, including a special edition Prime Time champion coin. These prize kits are no longer available nationally, so this could be your last chance to win one.

Try your luck and go for the grand prize and the enviable title of NOB WORLD CHAMPION! Familiarity with game required.

RPG - Call of Cthulhu - There and Back Again...

RPG - D&D 3.5 Marth: No Rest For The Dead
By Tim Harper. When your eyes closed in death, you assumed you would find some sort of peaceful rest, instead you found yourself extremely hungry and you had to dig yourself out of a large snow drift in the middle of nowhere. Finding yourself to be one of the Walking Dead wasn't what you had hoped for in an afterlife... You wish one of your old party members would have been smart enough to dismember or burn your corpse before this happened to it... speaking of which, where is the party? The party of adventurers all died simultaneously and awake together in the middle of the Tundra with not much memory of where, what, or who they are. With a gnawing hunger (that doesn't seem satisfied except for raw meat) what will you do with your new Undead life? The one good thing, is the cold doesn't seem to bother you anymore. If you want to see what the setting is like before you sign up Marth Ice World is my free home brewed setting that is a work in progress and can be found here: http://marth.bravehost.com No Experiance Needed, Characters will be provided.

RPG - D&D 3.5 Midnight Setting: The Durgis Clan
By Tim Harper. I summarize the Midnight Setting as J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth if Sauron won, chopped off & ate Aragorn's head, and then enslaved all the Hobbits... Izrador (Sauron-like) rules the world with a bloody fist. His rule spreads through the lands of Aryth like a disease. The free peoples of the world fight a loosing battle, and try to stop the hordes of unstoppable Orcs. Fight for hope and justice in a realm where desperation and despair hang like a death shroud over the shattered empires. The party is made up of a Dwarf, a Gnome, a Dwarrow (Dwarf/Gnome), 2 Dworgs (Dwarf/Orc), and an Orc. You belong to the Durgis Clan, the only Clan of the Dwarves that accepts outsiders and those who are exiled from the other Dwarf Clans for crimes or because they are half breeds. You were left to die on your own, but found your way into the loving embrace of the Durgis Clan, and your loyalty has a fanaticism because of it. The party takes part in guerilla warfare against marauding armies of Orcs. You're on the front line of a hopeless war but fight on anyway, because it is the right thing to do. I will have pregenerated characters so all you need to do is bring some dice, and a D&D 3.5 players handbook if you have one (if not no big deal).

RPG - HARPlite Revenge of the Kobolds!
By Tim Harper. Are you tired of playing the heros and adventurers? If you have ever said, "Man, I wish I could play a frickin' Kobold." then this is the game for you. After defending your dungeon home from countless attacks of greedy adventurers, your Master is finally fed up with the nearby town. He has forced all of the Kobolds (with threats of death) to pillage the town under the cover of night. The Kobolds are pissed off at their Master, but they also hate the racist humans who live in the town. He has picked out several locations he wants burned, but he would be happy if you could kill all the inhabitants. I will be using the free downloadable HARPlite RPG. It is made by I.C.E. who made MERP and Rolemaster. HARP stands for High Adventure Role Playing and it is a D100 skill based fantasy game. I will provide pregenerated Kobold characters, so all you need to do is bring your imagination (and high pitched squeaky voices). You can download the Free HARPlite PDF on this website: http://www.harphq.com/vault.htm
